How eCoupons Work. . .

Penny Pincher Gazette now catalogs e-coupons from SavingStar and Cellfire in addition to our regular printable coupons.  E-Coupons are redeemed by using your grocery store loyalty card instead of old fashion paper.  Great idea, huh?  Unfortunately, they come with a few drawbacks. The biggest drawback is that they are not accepted at all grocery stores yet.  If you don’t see your store in the list of participating retailers, keep checking back!

How do Loyalty Card coupons work?
Currently, you may browse and search for SavingStar coupons on PPGazette.com, but you must go to the SavingStar website to add them to your store loyalty cards. We hope to provide a more integrated solution in the near future.

  1. You must first create an account with SavingStar and enter the loyalty card information for the grocery store you shop at.
  2. Selecting SavingStar eCoupons will automatically link them to your store loyalty cards.
  3. Use your loyalty card at checkout (note: The total on your receipt does not change at checkout and the savings are not printed on the receipt).
  4. Your money is automatically added to your SavingStar account within 2-30 days! We'll email you when your savings post.
  5. Once your savings have exceeded $5, choose from PayPal or a direct deposit into your bank account for your savings!
